Wishing Eid Mubarak to all families celebrating. π
Over the warm sunny weekend, Mrs Jackson set the butterflies free. Can you remember the lifecycle of a butterfly? What did we see first, next and after that?
Good morning Reception.
Here's a little collaboration challenge!
Mrs Jackson went on a walk in the woods next to her house during her hourly exercise. Can you switch on your senses, stretch your noticing muscle and say what you can see and hear?
Challenge! Can you draw a picture and write a label showing what I saw and heard in the woodland? Ask your grown up to post your pictures into Tapestry.
Stay safe π

Today we launched our participation in 50 Things To Do Before You’re 5 in our incredible, brand new Early Years Outdoor Area! If your child is in Nursery or Reception be sure to download the app, take a photo and tick off activities when your child has completed them and save them onto Tapestry. We will then print them out and display them in the classroom. Enjoy the activities and let us know how you’re getting on!
In Reception we are reading the book So Much by Trish Cooke. The story is about the love within a family and is centred around a baby who is squeezed and kissed and hugged. We have been filling empty buckets with messages of love for our families, filling buckets with love hearts, counting love hearts on bottles and matching them to numerals, decorating love hearts in the style of Kandinsky and making playdough love hearts.
