Haroon has been working really hard at home and has been enjoying his home learning packs and Purple Mash activities. He also stretched his collaboration muscle to bake and decorate some delicious looking buns with his brother. As part of mental health awareness week Haroon made his Mum a card to say thanks for helping him with his school work, I bet she has been a fab teacher! Well done Haroon and thank you for sharing your learning with me, it is lovely to see.

Toys

This half term in our lessons we have been learning about toys. We compared old and new toys and investigated similarities and differences. We also made prototype split pin animal puppets before designing, making and evaluating our own split pin bears with moving arms.

Halloween Biscuits

After writing a list of things we would need Ahlberg decorated biscuits to look like pumpkins and all things spooky.

Dragon Party

Donaldson class wrote a letter to Egg Box Dragon to invite him to our dragon themed party. Unfortunately he could not attend but he sent us some dragon masks for our party.

Stick Man at The Den

Ahlberg class visited The Den with Mr Green this week to see if we could find Stick Man from the book by the author Julia Donaldson. We made sandcastles using sticks for masts, magic stick wands and nests for birds using lots of sticks and natural resources. We didn't find Stick Man but we had lots of fun looking for him.
