Pupil Teams
At Miriam Lord we believe that all pupils should have lots of opportunities to make a positive contribution to the school. This can mean simply by working hard, setting high expectations of their own behaviour and acting as a role model for others. However, we also create specific opportunities for pupils to contribute through different Pupil Teams. The details and job descriptions of our Pupil Teams are shown below, anyone who is interested in any of these roles should contact Mr Harrison.
Meeting with Mellors
Today, our Food Team and School Councillor met with James from Mellors Catering Services to discuss their thoughts and ideas for how to improve school lunches. It was great to hear our pupils sharing ideas and making a contribution to school life.
Sanctuary Clear Out
It was great to see our Eco-Team getting stuck in today on the first attempt at clearing out The Sanctuary. As you can see from the photos, our garden area has become quite overgrown and needs a lot of work. Who better that our Eco-Team who have rolled up their sleeves, quite literally, and started weeding and pulling out dead plants. Great to see such collaboration in action.
